While using RezAI, We may ask You to provide Us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify You. Personally identifiable information includes:

  • Email address
  • First name and last name
  • Phone number
  • Address, State, Province, ZIP/Postal code, City
  • Payment Information: When you purchase Credits, payment processing is handled by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.

Credits and Financial Transactions

Users can pay for products or services by depositing Credits into their account.

  • Conversion Rate: 1 Credit is equivalent to $0.01.
  • Purpose: We retain records of your Credit balance and transaction history to facilitate the performance of our contract with you and for legal/tax compliance.

Referral Program ("Invite Friends")

RezAI offers a feature that allows users to invite friends to the Service.

  • How it works: A user generates a unique referral link. When a friend clicks this link, a referral ID is saved to the cookies of that friend's browser to attribute the invitation to the original user.
  • Reward: If the invited friend signs up, the referring user will receive 100% of the value/activity (as defined by the specific promotion) from the invited user within their first month of usage.

2. Email Communications

We send emails to provide and maintain RezAI.

  • Service Emails: We send essential emails regarding account management, security updates, and Credit balances.
  • Marketing & Opt-in: Users can opt-in to receive promotional emails or newsletters. You can unsubscribe at any time using the "Unsubscribe" link provided in our emails or by contacting us.

3. Legal Compliance & Rights

California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA & CalOPPA)

This section applies to California residents.

  • Notice at Collection: We collect identifiers (contact info), commercial information (Credit purchases), and internet activity (referral tracking via cookies).
  • Right to Know, Delete, & Correct: You have the right to access your data, request its deletion, or correct inaccurate information.
  • Notice of Financial Incentive: Our referral program may be considered a "financial incentive" under California law.
  • Do Not Sell or Share: We do not sell your personal data. We "share" data only with Service Providers (like Stripe or Appwrite) for essential business purposes.
  • CalOPPA: We disclose that we honor "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signals.

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

For users in the EU/EEA, our legal bases for processing are:

  • Contractual Necessity: To manage your account and Credit balance.
  • Consent: For marketing emails and non-essential tracking.
  • Legitimate Interest: To operate our referral program and maintain the security of RezAI.
  • Your Rights: You have the right to data portability, the right to be forgotten (erasure), and the right to object to processing.

4. Retention and Security

  • Retention: We keep Account data for the duration of your relationship with us plus 24 months. Financial transaction data related to Credits is retained for up to 7 years to meet legal and tax obligations.
  • Security: While we use commercially acceptable means (like encryption via Stripe and Appwrite) to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
